Great job. It’s all about learning as you go. Just an FYI, your emergency breakaway should be clipped to your hitch somewhere. With it being hooked to the side of the bed like that when you make a sharp turn it can extend cable and cause it to pull out locking your trailer breaks up. With it connected to hitch, it stays within range. Exciting see you guys on the road. We are heading up to Flagstaff on Saturday. Keeping our trailer at Camp Village for June and July. Safe travels.
@@LesbiFITAdventures You all are so much fun to watch! Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure. I know firsthand how challenging it is to learn everything about RV life while also creating great RUclips content. I'm still working on that part myself, but you all are naturals!
You are so kind! Thank you! I was watching your weeks of meals for $100 bucks! Well done! Grocery stores, when traveling, are a real roll of the dice! Seeing how some communities have no access to fresh foods has been very eye-opening. We have grown to love Sprouts out west, but they are only in bigger cities! We just went to the local Lin's and stocked up on Kevin's because we are taking our second stab at boondocking for 9 days!!!
I’m so happy you two just popped up on my iPad this morning. So my husband and I went through this just the same way when we started glamping. Learn and laugh as you go and just enjoy the time together. We are now on our second rig and love it even more and yes it gets easier as you go. lol 😂. If you two ever want to visit Ocean City Maryland please give us a call. We have full hook ups, 30/50 amp water and sewer Dogs are welcome. Great video mates. Craig n Matthew
Great video! Everyone makes mistakes. I need to update all my checklists since I traded in for my 2024 Brinkley G3500. It's a lot different from my last toyhauler. Keep having fun, and keep learning from your mistakes and safe travels.
@LesbiFITAdventures my toys are a 2013 Harley Road Glide and a Lectric Bike 3.0. I'm looking forward to full-time RVING after I retire on 31 Dec 2024. I also have a Shiba Inu named Ricky.
@LesbiFITAdventures the Lectric Bike is great, I got the extended range. I bought the cargo baskets. But, I still need to install them. The bike will be my grocery getter on nice days when I start full timing. You should check them out again, they always have some type of sale or special on them. Y'all take care and stay safe!
Starlink is fantastic, but it's power hungry! I believe there's a timer which will allow you to program a specific time for it to shut down and turn back on.
talk about brain washing I actually had a dream and one of your black dogs was in it this week! your plan for the summer sounds perfect & im along for the ride!
Don't feel too bad. I think everyone who has ever owned a 4x4 for the first time has had this happen to them early on. Everything is working fine, then you pull onto pavement and you get that weird tugging/vibration sensation when turning. Good news is you will know exactly what it is next time (even without the trailer), bad news is you will forget to turn it off again one day! I'm guessing you would have figured it out quickly if it wasn't for pulling a trailer and thinking about the trailer brakes etc.
We have the Milwaukee, M18 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless Compact Blower. We love how small and compact it is as we knew we would be taking it up on the roof!

Thank you! Having a checklist has made travel day so much smoother! What "toy" do you haul in your G3500?

Awesome! How do you like the Lectric Bike? We have considered them.

What blower did you use on your slides

Hey, ladies! What breed(s) are your dogs? One looks like a Schipperke ❤
OMG, that's so funny. We get that all the time. They are actually sisters. They are rescues and a mix of Pomeranian, Terrier, and Min Pin.
